common questions.

Can I add my own tablecloth or cover?

Yes. Just check with your centre or venue first, as some have requirements around what can be placed on or around hire furniture.

Does the table have any storage underneath?

The table doesn’t have built-in storage, but at 750mm high there’s plenty of clearance underneath to position additional items, boxes or storage solutions during your activation.

Can I add branding or signage to the table?

Yes. We can arrange branding on the table surface, and we can also help with additional signage if needed.

How much weight does the table hold?

The table has a weight capacity of 25kg. If you’re planning a particularly heavy display, get in touch and we’ll advise.

What are the table dimensions?

Our display tables are approximately 1800mm long x 750mm deep x 750mm high.

Can I hire more than one table?

Yes. Multiple tables placed end to end create a longer service or display run. Let us know how many you need and we’ll confirm availability.

How far in advance do I need to book the coffee cart?

Our coffee carts are popular and availability moves quickly. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your dates.

Can the coffee cart canopy be removed?

Yes. The canopy comes off easily for venues with clearance restrictions, or if you prefer the look of just the base cart without it.

Does the cart come with any storage for cups, lids or coffee supplies?

Yes. There are two open shelves at the back of the cart that provide ample storage for cups, lids and other supplies throughout the day.

Can I add a menu board or signage to the coffee cart setup?

Yes. There’s a large brandable area on the canopy and front face of the cart. Your menu or signage can be incorporated into the branding, or you can arrange your own add-on signage separately.

Will my coffee machine and grinder both fit on the cart?

Yes. The 1.5m benchtop gives a barista everything they need to work properly, space for the machine, grinder, milk and whatever else is part of the setup.

Can I hire a barista through Traction Studio as well as the cart?

No. We don’t supply baristas directly. We’re happy to recommend suppliers who can provide a full package including a coffee machine, beans and barista. Get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Is the coffee machine included?

No. The cart hire includes the cart only. You’ll need to source your own coffee machine, grinder and beans separately. We’re happy to recommend suppliers if needed.

Does the bar cart have enough room for a proper bar setup with garnishes and glassware?

Yes. The 1.5m benchtop gives you plenty of room for a proper bar layout, including garnishes, glassware and ice. Keep it organised and the cart handles a full service setup without issue.

Do I need an RSA-certified staff member to serve from the cart?

If you’re serving alcohol, yes. RSA requirements apply and are your responsibility to manage. For non-alcoholic beverages, standard service applies. Check with your venue on any specific requirements.

Do you supply alcohol?

No. The cart hire covers the cart only. You’ll need to source and supply your own beverages and bar equipment.

The food cart’s 1.5m benchtop is set up for two people to work comfortably.

Do I need council approval to serve food from the cart?

It depends on your location and what you’re serving. For shopping centre activations, the centre will typically manage food service approvals. For other locations, check with your local council.

How much weight can each shelf hold?

Each shelf has a weight capacity of 10kg. If you’re displaying heavier items, get in touch and we’ll advise on the right setup for you.
